Hi! I just stumbled across your blog. Let me tell you, I understand about cooking disasters. In college, I held a dinner party where I cooked fried chicken, mashed potatoes and all the fixin's. Well, I didn't comprehend you couldn't cook on high on a electric oven like you could an old-school ceramic oven. I set off the fire alarm, burnt the outside of the chicken, left the inside raw and messed up the mashed potatos so they were more like soup in my panic.

Let me tell you, it was tasty.

    Julie:
I've had trouble leaving comments on typepad for a while, but I think it's finally working again for me. This bread looks very yummy and homey! I love having good recipes for using up my ripe bananas.
