This soup looks YUMMY, but I would not have eaten it as a kid ... Leeks ... ick!!!!

I was in Austria and without knowing it I tasted some "Pig Lung Soup" of course, the name was in German and I didn't know what it was .... it was great, until my husband told me what it was ... YIKES! So just goes to show you how we prejudge.

I've always loved soups! This one looks great. I'm going to start using leeks more often.

Don't you hate it when you are forced to admit that mom was right? I used to be a pretty picky eater as well. Thanks for a great soup recipe!

I wouldn't even eat soup as a kid-not even chicken noodle. Isn't that crazy? Mom was right.
