I hope I'm not too late! Here is the recipe I'd like to enter into the contest:

For the sake of this contest, I'm calling it...

    Party Fowl
(more commonly called Hot Chicken Salad Tarts)

    2 cups Chicken, chopped
    2 cups Celery, finely chopped
    ½ t Salt
    1 Onion, grated
    1 cup Mayonnaise
    2 T Lemon Juice
½ cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
    1 cup Potato Chips, crushed
    1 pkg Pre-cooked Phyllo Shells

Combine ingredients except potato chips. Pile lightly in individual pre-cooked phyllo shells. Sprinkle with potato chips. Bake at 400 degrees about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    Stuffed Grilled Jalapenos

    12 whole fresh jalapenos

    2 packages cream cheese

1 roll Jimmy Dean Spicy Sausage

1 package of thick Bacon Slices.

    I box of toothpicks

Slice jalapenos in half and clean out all membrane and seeds from the jalapenos and then lay to the side. Cook your sausage in small enough chunks to fit into the crevice and lay them to the side to cool. Fill jalapenos with cream cheese, put a chunk of the sausage on the top then wrap with a half a piece of the bacon. Secure the bacon to the jalapeno with the toothpicks. You can not use a propane grill for these you have to get your coals hot and then let all the flames go out. The Jalapenos must be turned often so that the bacon cooks fully. When the bacon is cooked fully then place on a platter and serve to all the hungry superbowlers.

That is one our favorite superbowl snacks. Eat and enjoy. Julie
